This Thursday is our Dad’s Group, on 3rd October.

Arrival is from 7:45pm for an 8pm start and finishing by 9:30pm.

This is an open drop in group - you don’t have to come every month, you can come to any month that you are able. It’s run by a male facilitator and space for all bereaved dads who have a school aged child/ren; you do not have to have a child being supported by Living On.

We are so proud to announce that our amazing volunteers were nominated for @communitylinksbromley Community Links Volunteer Team of the Year Award… and WON 🎉🥳🥇

This recognition is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the positive impact our team have made in our community and we couldn’t be more proud.

During the presentation the following citation was read out:

Living On could not provide the vital support to families and schools without the dedication of our wonderful volunteers.

These amazing individuals give their time to work 1:1 with bereaved children and young people, helping them express their grief, share their stories, and manage their emotions through creative activities. From creating memory boxes to preparing children for funerals, our volunteers offer bespoke care and compassion every step of the way.

They also run our monthly Help Point, offering guidance and a listening ear to families struggling with grief. Additionally, they support family events, from social activities to therapeutic groups. The difference they make is immeasurable.

We’ve supported over 520 families, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. One family shared, “A phenomenal service, incredibly beneficial to both my children.”

We truly cannot emphasize enough how invaluable our volunteers are.
