Get Involved

There are many ways you can get involved with Living On. Living On flower

We are looking for volunteers in all capacities to support us in providing a bereavement service to children, young people and their families in the Orpington area. We need enthusiastic, committed and compassionate people to join our dedicated team to develop and continue the support we give.

Volunteer roles include supporting our grief groups, helping to fundraise or providing marketing and administrative support.

If you have a professional qualification and/or experience of working with children and families you can be a Buddy. A Buddy provides support and advice to a child and family following bereavement. Living On provides training for the role you undertake.

If you want to make a difference and support your local community, please download our Volunteer Application Form 2017 or contact us.

The organisation needs to raise funds in order to operate and provide this much needed service to support families in the community. Therefore, please join us for one of our events, volunteer or donate.

One easy way to help us raise money is by using AmazonSmile every time you purchase from Amazon. AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to support Living On every time you shop, at no cost to you. When you shop at, you’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price to Living On.
