“I think the sessions help to keep me grounded. Hearing from the other dad’s about both them and their kids help remind me that what me and my kids are going through is perfectly normal. It’s also a safe space where I feel like we can discuss anything. And it’s not always doom and gloom and we do sometimes have a laugh.”
On the first Thursday of every month, we run a peer support group for dads where their partner has died and they are bringing up their children alone. This is at any stage of your bereavement journey. This space is safe and non-judgmental and a place to share experiences and support each other.
